Professional experience
From 1999 to 2004, he acted as Lawyer of the International Regulation Department of the Internal Revenue Service (SII) of Chile in the application and interpretation of International Taxation Rules.
21 years of professional expertise in tax issues, 12 of them as Lead Partner of the Tax & Legal Department in BDO firm.
He has been Counselor ad-honorem of the Chilean Internal Revenue Service (SII) between 2008 and 2014.
He was representative of Chile before the taxation forum of the OCDE in Paris, France, and Mexico City, Mexico. He also was Counselor of the BID for Nicaragua and for the National Superintendence of Tax Administration (SUNAT) in Peru.
He has worked as professor in prestigious Universities of Chile, giving lectures, such as:
- Tax Law for Undergraduate Degree, Universidad Alberto Hurtado
- Master of Planning and Tax Administration, Universidad de Santiago (USACH)
- LL.M. in Taxation, Pontificial Catholic University of Chile

Chairman of the Chilean Institute of Tax Law between 2013–2017, currently member of the Board
